Old dogs. New Tricks.
Highwire Games is a small team of veteran game developers — with a proven record of creative vision and disciplined, high-quality production — applying our expertise to new platforms, creating new experiences and reaching new audiences.
Wish you guys the best. Can’t wait to see what you’re doing next Marty.
Sounds interesting and exciting, not to mention a little exhilarating and somewhat sexy, too. I know whatever comes out of this studio is going to be awesome and I can’t wait to hear more. Good luck lads.
So glad you all got together on this new venture! I am excited too watch your progress and witness Highwire Games come in to full bloom. The process wont be a cakewalk, but I have no doubt the team you are putting together has the heart and talent to effectively wipe out any hurdles that come your way. This experience is going to be rewarding for all of you and your fans as well.
Been a fan of halo since I was four. Been a fan of Martin O’Donelle since 5. This news is the best I’ve heard in the gaming industry for many reasons. If you guys really do this thing, and it takes off, which I believe it will, we could see a return to originality of gameplay! Anyone remember when playing a game felt exhilarating, new, and all around positive, in a time before we had to look up if a game was good or not, and when companies said “why not try this and make a game better?” Rather than “what demographics can we hit?” We need a company that can bring back the old age of gaming! You guys can do it! I believe in you all!
My advice: try not to get published by those who would force you to reach demographics instead of quality! Expand your horizons and return to your roots.
My challenge to you guys: Become the next Bungie, before Activision took them, the next Bioware before EA took them… hell, become the new Bethesda Softworks!! Reach a new horizon nobody has done for over a decade. You can do it! As an aspiring game developer, I realize the potential of this and I know you all can do this.
Martin O’Donelle! You are my favorite composer of the century, right along John Williams and Hanz Zimmer. I will always be a loyal fan as long as you do what you’re doing, which is creating original soundtracks and creative audio designs like you did in Halo. Just remember your roots and there will be nothing to worry about! Believe in yourselves and good luck!
Still remembering the Goose.

Go Marty. You showed Bungie who’s boss.
If you old dogs need a new trick, I have one!
I’m more interested in what you and your team will come up with than anything that Bungie or 343 is working on at this point. Best of luck to you and I can’t wait to hear what wonderful music you’ve got coming in the future.
I wish the best of luck to you guys!
Dude.. It’s O’Donnell.
Looking forward to the Games. I wish you guys all the luck. ^^
Good luck Marty. I love you.
Been a halo fan from the beginning and all I can say when I see this is… “yes!!”

Really excited to see what you come up with!
Show em what can blossom when creative freedom and control stays in the hands of the artists.
Congratulations Marty and team. While I can’t just drop Destiny in your honor, know that im on your side with this. Hoping Ryan gets what he deserves for pushing to terminate you and for Activision for ruining your work. We all saw it coming, what Activision did. Hope your team makes a game that blows them out of the water and we can’t wait to hear your next movement. You’ve become one of my inspirations into the world of audio. Live on.
Remember Marty for the Marty Movement!
i’ll be waiting for your next game. Good luck man and congrats on winning the legal fight.
The music is going to be awesome in your games.
can I preorder your first game now?
I will support you guys with my money and my time. Thank you for fighting against activision Marty!
I’m looking forward to everything you guys do
and most of all am glad to see Marty back in the game!
Good luck on your venture
Just read about this in an expose piece on Marty’s termination. Can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!

Steam Greenlight, my friends. Get known by your own works, not by working with other companies.
I don’t really have interest in Bungie or O’Donnel, but I think they should’ve given the guy more leeway considering his history. They tried ignoring his past works because they view him as just another employee but clearly he’s not when his names attached to a game. I’m sure they can come up with real breakthroughs without people telling them what to do.

Love your music Marty, so much, and I wish your team the best of luck. I’m rooting for you guys, I know you’ll do good by us all! =)
